Rainbow Children’s Village Third Phase Nears Completion

The 9 roomed third block of living quarters at the KidzCan Zimbabwe Rainbow Children’s Village is nearing completion, and at its heart will be the Room of Love, a safe, supportive space for children undergoing cancer treatment and their families. Through its philanthropic arm, #The51 Initiative, ZimWorX contributed USD 25,000 to this vital project, underscoring our commitment to the health and dignity of Zimbabwe’s most vulnerable. With childhood cancer survival rates in Zimbabwe currently at just 30–40 percent, this space is more than shelter,  it is a stepping stone to hope, healing, and better outcomes.

Yesterday, during a formal handover event, Dr. Lionel Young, ZimWorX Vice President of Workplace Wellness and Philanthropy, officially presented the USD 25,000 cheque to KidzCan. He also toured the site, where he was informed by KidzCan Director Daniel Mackenzie that construction is progressing ahead of schedule, with keys handover set for December 20, 2025.

For ZimWorX clients and partners, this project is a reminder that working with us is about more than business; it is about creating real impact. Together, we’re not just building rooms, we are helping raise survival rates and transform lives, one child at a time.
