Investing with Purpose: Empowering the Next Generation Through Innovation and Impact

Recently, we delivered a hands-on rabbit farming training session to 106 first-year students from Gwebi Agricultural College at Bunny Estates. For us, this was more than just a training, it was about unlocking real opportunity and complimenting the Colleges effort. Students were equipped with practical skills in rabbit production, from breed selection and housing to nutrition, breeding, and disease management, alongside essential business fundamentals like record keeping, cost control, and identifying income streams. Our goal was simple: give young people the tools to turn knowledge into income and independence.

Beyond the training, we are inspired by how Bunny Estates is redefining what it means to farm with intention. They are experimenting with rabbit urine as an eco-friendly insect repellent and foliar fertilizer and refining it for broader use, unlocking both economic and environmental value.

The vision goes further into feed independence, value-added products, and training models that can be replicated by pensioners, youth, and women. At ZimWorX, through #The51, we believe sustainability should spread, multiplying impact through small, smart changes. This is what it looks like when innovation meets purpose: real empowerment, real resilience, and real change.
