On 25 July, ZimWorX Zambia joined business leaders, community members, and golfers at the Fundraising Golf Tournament held at Chainama Golf Club in support of the expansion of Holy Spirit Parish. The tournament brought together people from different backgrounds with a shared purpose: raising funds to support the continued construction of the church and provide essential commodities for the growing parish community.
What began as a day on the golf course became an opportunity to invest in something far greater than the game itself.
The event was graced by the Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sport, Mr Kangwa Chileshe, whose presence reinforced the powerful role that partnerships and sport can play in strengthening communities.
Representing ZimWorX on the course were Natasha Soko, Jordan Gondwe, Kabaso Chamba, and Temwani Zimba, while the team also engaged participants throughout the day by giving away branded T-shirts and a commemorative flask to the Guest of Honour.
Beyond participating in the tournament, ZimWorX had the opportunity to share the story behind the organisation and the vision of The51. During a short address, attendees were introduced to the company’s mission, its commitment to creating lasting social impact, and how The51 reinvests into initiatives that transform lives and strengthen communities. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many stakeholders expressing excitement that a business model centred on purpose and generosity is making a tangible difference in Zambia.
The day served as another reminder that meaningful impact is built through collaboration. Whether on the golf course, in the workplace, or within local communities, every act of generosity creates opportunities for hope to grow.
